Morning — Historic Almaty
Hotel pick-up.
- Green Bazaar: explore one of the city’s best-known local markets and discover dried fruits, nuts, sweets, spices and regional products.
- Panfilov Park: walk through one of Almaty’s most historic parks.
- Ascension Cathedral: visit the colourful wooden cathedral in the heart of the park.
- Central Almaty: continue through selected areas of the city while your guide explains the story of Almaty — from old Verny to the modern metropolis.
Medeu
Leave the city centre and travel towards the mountains. Visit Medeu, surrounded by the peaks of the Trans-Ili Alatau. Enjoy the mountain scenery, fresh air and viewpoints. Shymbulak is not included.
Kok Tobe
Return towards the city and finish the experience at Kok Tobe. This is especially good in the late afternoon / early evening. From here guests can enjoy panoramic views across Almaty and the surrounding mountains. Depending on timing, they can also have coffee, dinner or simply enjoy the sunset before returning to the hotel. Coffee, dinner and optional attractions at Kok Tobe are not included.
